-In loving memory-

This a personal shout-out for Buddy and his loving owners...
you may not read this...but I really want to express my gratitude...

Lisa, thank you for bringing Buddy over...
we didn't want to see him at our clinic so often at all...
but he was great company...a fussy little guy...
yet so adorable...

given his medical condition...
there was so little that modern day veteranian medicines could do for Buddy...
I am sure Buddy had the most enjoyable life with you...

like you said, Lisa, we'll meet again with a new bundle of joy...
in this time of pain and sorrow...
i really hope you take care of yourself and your family

with lots of love,
Celine.

PS: thank you for your flowers :) they are lovely

-Hallowe-'en-

Hallowe'en BEWARES~!

Attention all~~
It's time to enjoy the fall and the vibrant colours!
It's also time for fireworks and free candies + goodies.

It's also the time of year when we can dress up our pets without feeling guilty or anybody thinking that we're crazy.

So what do you have on mind? This year our staff members are thinking of dressing up our residence cat into a pig (since she sleeps ALL day)...or maybe into a pumpkin (my personal favourite). Whatever you have on mind for your lovely companion, just bear in mind that your four-legged baby is always a baby.

But WAIT!! Keep them out of your pet's way!! An animal's system is very different from ours; doggies and kitties can have chocolate poisoning if they ingest even a small amount! And candies can be lodged in their throats causing suffocation. What can you do so you can enjoy a wonderful Hallowe'en with your baby?

Don't leave your sweets on the table (or anywhere, and that's all year round) unattended!

If you have a candy jar, great~! Best of all, a candy jar with a lid on ! This way they can't get sneaky paws inside. Even...

Unfortunately, most allergy cases are not so simple.  Although you can get testing done at our Vancouver Animal Hospital , allergies remain difficult to diagnose.  Treatment varies widely from patient to patient, depending on the cause and symptoms, and may include antihistamines or allergy shots.  Recovery can take a long time, and because...
